STAR WARS: REMEMBER THE PLANET HOTH

     In the western reaches of the outer rim territories, in what is called the Anoat sector lies the icy frozen tundra planet called Hoth. This planet was a pale blue orb surrounded by an asteroid belt with meteors that occasionally hit the planet.   
     Hoth was covered with glaciers, frozen ice plains and oceans. The temperatures on Hoth are always frigid, it can get down to -60° degrees some nights.

Memorable events that occurred on the planet Hoth are:
• The Rebels using the 15 subspecies of tauntauns for transport.
• Han Solo cutting a tauntaun open to keep himself and Luke Skywalker warm during a snowstorm.
• Luke Skywalker being captured by a Wampa, hanging upside down in the Wampa’s cave, and having to use the force to get ahold of his lightsaber. Luke, then used his lightsaber to cut himself down from the cave roof and severed the Wampa’s arm.
• Building the Echo Base
• Fighting the Battle of Hoth after the Galactic Empire located the Echo Base

Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and all of the other Rebels are commemorating all of these memories of surviving the harsh frozen environment of Hoth with Disney Trading Pins. There’s 2 special limited release pins (the C3PO/R2D2 pin and the DarthVader/SnowTroopers Pin) and then there’s 12 other pin designs that come in randomly selected 2 packs.

These are limited release 1¾ inches × 1¾ inches, enameled cloisonné pins with laser print elements and a coppertone finish. They have Mickey icon pin backs, the Disney Pin Trading 2023 backstamp, and a metal pin frame with a nameplate. These pins come on Hoth logo cards. These items are priced at $19.99 each.

     There’s also the STAR WARS HOTH MYSTERY PIN BLIND PACK.

This is a pack of 2 Disney Trading pins that are randomly chosen from the 12 limited release enameled cloisonné pins that have a coppertone finish, pin backs and the Disney Pin Trading 2023 backstamp.

The 12 different designs feature Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, SnowTroopers, Wedge Antilles, Tauntaun, At-At driver, Imperial probe droid, 2-1B, General Veers, and Rebel Soldier.
