DONALD DUCK’S BLESSINGS IN DISGUISE

     The 1939 DONALD DUCK cartoon entitled “DONALD’S LUCKY DAY” is a reminder that things that we are superstitious about or see as obstacles that are working AGAINST us, may really be GOD or the universe working FOR us.
     In the cartoon, DONALD DUCK is working as a bike messenger who also delivers packages.

Its Friday the 13th. So as DONALD is trying to deliver a package which he doesn’t know is a bomb, he’s also trying to avoid the bad luck of Friday the 13th. DONALD was able to stop himself from riding under a ladder

BUT DONALD still managed to break a mirror by crashing into it and to cross paths with a black cat.

The black cat does everything in its power to stop DONALD from delivering the package.

Because of this the package eventually rips open and DONALD finally finds out that it’s a bomb. The black cat pushes the bomb into a body of water and the bomb explodes under water. The black cat, which was supposed to be bad luck, saved DONALD’s life and stopped him from delivering a bomb to someone’s house.
      Like DONALD DUCK, we all have times in our lives where we get angry with what we PERCEIVE to be OBSTACLES standing in our way BUT later we realize that they were actually BLESSINGS IN DISGUISE. You received these BLESSING IN DISGUISE because there’s a GOD above who is STRONGER and GREATER than ANY so-called bad luck or evil that is in the world.
